Bishop Ridley Church and the Falconwood community celebrated the coronation of King Charles III over the coronation weekend. Our church has been beautifully decorated by our uniformed groups, Sunday Club and Babes and Toddlers. On Saturday (6 May) the community watched the coronation service and enjoyed delicious cakes, while the children created crowns and other craft activities. On the Sunday (7 May), special new liturgy was used during the service. On Monday (8 May), volunteers from church and community took part in a work party to spruce up the church. But, here at Bishop Ridley Church, the celebrations haven't finished! On Sunday 21 May, the Bishop of Rochester will be coming along to our coronation parade service.
