Prayer weekend 

Nicholas Ridley
Did you know Bishop Ridley church is named after a real person? Bishop Nicholas Ridley was born in 1500. He was an influential figure in the English reformation but was eventually martyred on 16 October 1555. You can read more about his life here. So on the 16 October, we celebrate Nicholas Ridley's life, his teachings and standing up for what we believe in. We also spend the weekend closest to it praying.

Friday 14 October - 8pm onwards
From 8pm on Friday 14 October, Bishop Ridley church will be open for prayer with various prayer stations - places to give inspiration of things to pray for.  You can book a prayer slot by emailing info@brchurch.org.uk or sign up on the list in church.  

Saturday 15 October - 2:30pm
On Saturday 15 October, we will pause the prayer room for a few hours from 2:30pm as Rev Leon Sims will speak to us on the topic of confidence. There will then be an opportunity for Q&A while enjoying tea and cakes. 

Sunday 16 October - 10:30am
Rev Leon Sims will speak again as we commemorate Bishop Nicholas Ridley.
