Falconwood's Harvest Festival Parade Service - Sunday 3 October 2021 - 10:30am - Bishop Ridley Church.

While we may no longer live rural lives ruled by 'working the land', each year Harvest Festival still provides us with a chance to say thank you for all the things we have - not least our food. Here in Falconwood, the first Sunday in October is the time we can come together as a community to give thanks and reflect on how fortunate we are. This Sunday (3 October 2021) will also be our first parade service since the start of the pandemic. We look forward to welcoming back our uniformed groups and the community. 

This year we will be supporting the Bexley Foodbank and Emmaus .  They urgently need:
Strong Carrier Bags/Bags For Life
Shower Gel
Razors
Shaving Foam/Gel
Deodorant
Shampoo & Conditioner
Housecleaning Items
Tooth Brushes & Toothpaste
Washing Pods
Tinned Fruit
Tinned Spaghetti
Noodles
Jam
Sweets
Long-Life Milk
Long-Life Fruit Juice
Coffee
Tinned Potatoes.

But they have plenty of:
Beans
Pasta
Soup
Tea
Cereal
Kidney Beans, Butter Beans, Lentils & Chickpeas
Baby Food. 

For anyone who is unable to make the service, the church will also be open between 2-4pm for donations.
